Hi everyone,
I’m posting for a friend who is in need of a guest gardener during DOE’s spring break! They had someone cancel last minute and they are scrambling to find an alternate. I’m hoping someone from this group can help!
Jessica is from the Kew Kids Forest School in Queens and they are trying to get a small school garden started.
Needed: guest gardener
Audience: 10 students, pre-K
Dates: M-F April 22-26 from 8:30am/9-11am (all days needed)
Stipend: $30 per day
Content: to speak and facilitate some garden activities
She has some basic topics and activities already along with bags of compost and seedlings.
